Stepped in and observed that it’s a counter service. The counter staff didn’t say hello or anything, so we just quietly grabbed a few menu. The inside seatings were full, so we managed an outdoor table for our group of 5 adults and 1 toddler.
After having placed our order, the food was served in a short wait. The portions were small; more gravy than the main ingredients. The curries weren’t piping hot (not sure if they were pre-made and reheated). We ordered 2 of the curries to be made medium but one was hotter than another. We enjoyed their naan bread the most-fluffy, bubbly and chewy.
The service was just strait forward, not extraordinary.

We visited Saffron Cuisine in Brisbane and were truly impressed! We tried their Papdi Chaat, Dahi Bhalla, and Gol Gappa( could be more tangy and flavourful) — hands down the best chaat in Brisbane. The flavours were spot on, beautifully balanced, and the presentation was stunning.
The prices are also very reasonable, making it a perfect spot for authentic Indian street food cravings. Honestly, we couldn’t even take a proper photo because the food looked (and smelled) so good — we had to dig in right away!
A huge thank you to the team at Saffron Cuisine for bringing such high-quality, delicious Indian food to Brisbane. Will definitely be coming back soon!

Me and my friends were craving Indian food and one of my friends found some good reviews about this restaurant, so we decided to check it out on Sunday night! 😁 Since we were already in the area and were all pretty hungry, I'm very glad we came here! We were all very satisfied with our food and dining experience here! Will definitely come here again with some more friends in the near future ^^

10-out-10 for this Indian restaurant!
I popped into Saffron Cuisine for their lunch special today after reading several 5-star reviews.
The reviews were spot on as my lunch today was excellent.
The restaurant offers a $10 vegetarian lunch (rice + a vegetarian dish) and a $12 non-veg one (rice + a non-veg dish). I opted for the latter and chose CHICKEN TIKKA MASALA to go with the rice. I added NAAN BREAD and CHAI TEA to my order.
My meal arrived after a short wait, and it was a generous serve, especially with the addition of the naan. The CHICKEN TIKKA MASALA was delicious - beautifully-cooked, tender chicken in flavoursome gravy/curry, and the NAAN BREAD was SO good - light and fluffy, and charred on the edges. I really enjoyed the CHAI as well; it was as good as any I had tried in India. All round, a wonderful meal.
Saffron Cuisine has seating inside and under a covered terrace outside. Both options are fine.
I was happy to have a bit of a chat with the owner, who was friendly and accommodating, which is another reason for me to come back again. I'll try something from the standard menu next time as I'm sure it will be great.
Well done!

Was missing home and craving street food so came here for the dahi Puri, papdi chaat, and chai! Everything was so tasty, and cheap for the location! Service was warm and lovely.
