Stepped in and observed that it’s a counter service. The counter staff didn’t say hello or anything, so we just quietly grabbed a few menu. The inside seatings were full, so we managed an outdoor table for our group of 5 adults and 1 toddler.
After having placed our order, the food was served in a short wait. The portions were small; more gravy than the main ingredients. The curries weren’t piping hot (not sure if they were pre-made and reheated). We ordered 2 of the curries to be made medium but one was hotter than another. We enjoyed their naan bread the most-fluffy, bubbly and chewy.
The service was just strait forward, not extraordinary.

We visited Saffron Cuisine in Brisbane and were truly impressed! We tried their Papdi Chaat, Dahi Bhalla, and Gol Gappa( could be more tangy and flavourful) — hands down the best chaat in Brisbane. The flavours were spot on, beautifully balanced, and the presentation was stunning.
The prices are also very reasonable, making it a perfect spot for authentic Indian street food cravings. Honestly, we couldn’t even take a proper photo because the food looked (and smelled) so good — we had to dig in right away!
A huge thank you to the team at Saffron Cuisine for bringing such high-quality, delicious Indian food to Brisbane. Will definitely be coming back soon!

I had Onion Bhajis, with lamb korma, steamed rice and pappadams. It was the most delicious food—complex spice flavours obviously made from the raw ingredients rather than from a sachet, the right amount of 'hot' that didn't drown out the flavour, not oily, generous portions (I needed a takeaway container for the leftovers). I think this is the best Indian restaurant in Brisbane right now. They were busy at the counter for ordering (as it is a very popular place), and we were asked to take a seat to wait and they came over to give us table service. The meals arrived quickly. You can see that the owners love food and they are intentionally trying to deliver great customer service.

Me and my friends were craving Indian food and one of my friends found some good reviews about this restaurant, so we decided to check it out on Sunday night! 😁 Since we were already in the area and were all pretty hungry, I'm very glad we came here! We were all very satisfied with our food and dining experience here! Will definitely come here again with some more friends in the near future ^^
